I purchased this castle for my son's 12th birthday. I thought he would be too old for it at first, but when I saw the laboratory and the details I knew he would love it. He just finished studying medieval Europe and enjoyed building the castle and labeling its parts. I was also very impressed with Zelor. When I first received the package, I was dismayed because it was damaged. I called the number on the invoice and to my surprise, the owner answered! He immediately sent out a replacement castle with an additional lego set for the trouble! He also said I could keep the damaged set for spare parts! I would buy any toy from Zelor! Thank you Amazon for providing great products and vendors!

I bought this for my husband-a car nut and kid at heart. He still loves to build with legos, and he was very happy with this gift. He opened the box the day I gave it to him and had it assembled in two or three days. I'm sure it would take a child a good amount of time to assemble (and make the price more worth it). These cars are really neat. There are many features that you can manipulate once the car is built. It is quite large and we currently don't have any place to keep it except on top of the fridge. These (like many other legos) are not sturdy enough to play with after it has been built. Perhaps if you are very careful, you could "drive" it around very slowly, but we have to keep it far away from our 4 yo!

LEGO Racers: Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (8145) Review

My son (at 7) complained that every LEGO toy I got him was too easy. So I got this one, which not only uses the TECHNIC system, but has an extremely intricate design. Unlike the other LEGO kits he got - even the huge Star Wars Battle Cruiser - he could not put this together in one sitting. He got frustrated at times with the hand coordination and delicacy of partially complete sections, but stuck with it until the end and beamed with pride at how well he did. The only thing I helped him with was when his hands lacked the strength to snap certain parts together; otherwise, he and his older sister (whom he directed as his assistant) did everything. It was a wonderful experience for all of us, and now we have a sturdy good-looking car that I hope we can adapt with the MINDSTORMS NXT robot brain and motors at a later time.

I found this bear to an exceptionally good bear. As an enormous false bear, it really does tick all the boxes you'd expect it to, and a couple that you wouldn't. However, this product is also advertised as 'educational'.

This bear has taught my nine children nothing but some questionable algebra and a short history of hip-hop music which I am all but certain he is making up on the spot. I recently decided to try home-schooling my kids. What better learning environment than your own cage? Plus, to be frank, I'd rather strap myself to a tea-cosy and fling myself off of a two-storey Tesco than expose my darlings to the British school system. Besides - they are all in their mid-twenties now, and it is about time they learned how to do something other than cook and clean and construct time machines that NEVER WORK.

I saw the educational bear and I thought to myself, I thought 'Now here is the fellow who will teach my offspring some important lessons, quickly, efficiently and without informing any authorities'. Perhaps that was an assumption on my part. Perhaps. But the fact is that I sold two of my smallest children and one of my villas in Basingstoke in an effort to afford this bear, and it has not lived up to expectations.

To summarise: if you want a massive replica bear to stand in a corner and menace the hell out of your house-guests, then this is the massive replica bear for you. If you suspect that those enjoying the park outside of the local zoo aren't getting enough exercise, then this item might well be invaluable. But if you think you are getting teaching staff for your $1300, then you are sorely, sorely mistaken.

Magic Circle 16 ft. Octagon Trampoline w Safety Cage Review

I ordered the trampoline on April 23rd. I week later got an email from Amazon asking how I liked it. Couldn't respond cause didn't ever get the order. Kidwise said the one that was on the way got lost so would send another one. Finally on May 14th the trampoline arrived. Slip said 4 boxes, I received 4 boxes. Unfortunately my husband was away that weekend so we waited until yesterday to put it together. I now have two sets of trampoline poles, pads and the jumping area but no metal base or feet. So now we've missed my son's birthday party and will still not have a trampoline set up during our Memorial Day cookout. My kids were so disappointed when we told them we had to pack the boxes up and wait a little longer. I realize there are sometimes ordering issues and I'm sure once I receive all the pieces it will be great, as Magic Circle Trampolines are highly rated, but I think Amazon might want to find someone else to supply this item as it appears to me Kidwise can't handle it. Since I'm paying 4x what I would pay for a trampoline from somewhere like Toys R Us I expect better service. Not happy.
