DC Direct Cover Girls of the DC Universe: Starfire Statue Review

The Starfire statue that I purchased had paint flaws but the overall sculpt and pose is great. The problem that I encountered was that my statue had visible paint strokes which was very bothersome for me. In addition, I was not fond of the bluish purple color of her outfit.

Rather than return it, I repainted her outfit in a slightly different color. The paint job may look simple but its a bit challenging especially when painting the upper portion of her outfit. I had to be careful not to get paint on her torso.

Overall, I do recommend this statue for Starfire and pre-52 Teen Titan fans yet try to find a statue with a good paint application. If not, you may want to try to repaint it like I did or simply return it for a full refund.
