We bought the Steiff Good Night Dog for my son for his first birthday. His older brother has a Steiff Boeky Lamb that my husband and I say is the first inanimate object we'd run into a burning house to retrieve - it is so dear we don't think he'd sleep without it! The Good Night Dog was purchased with the hope that it would be as beloved to our second son as Boeky is to our eldest. It took!The Good Night Dog is the perfect size and pliability for a baby and into the toddler years. It is a great shape that allows it to be cuddled in the crook of his elbow at night ... or sometimes slept upon. The material is soft to the touch. Stitching is sturdy/durable. The Good Night Dog has held up to a year of 'love' from our son and is still in great shape.
