My daughter just received this doll for Christmas and is absolutely tickled with it. We also have "the competitor who must not be named". Obviously the hair on this doll is not quite competitor-quality. However, the face is every bit is cute and the accessories (two full outfits, a book, etc) make the doll well worth the $40 price. The clothes seem to fit interchangeably.
