Matchbox Sky Busters Adventure Super Fleet Review

Our son is only 17 months, not the 3+ years he should be for this set, so we removed some of the dangerous items like the small metal airplane (really cool, by the way), but it has a very pointed tip. We also took away the cargo plans tower and missles. Otherwise it's very bulky and basic with not a lot of small parts. The airplane needs to be assembled, but it's just snapping 6 pieces together. The 2 cars are metal and actually roll straight! The helicopter is really interesting and fun for my son. I think the best thing really is the Giant Air Craft Carrier, he LOVES it. He flies it around the room, we chase him with it, and he rolls it across the floor (it has wheels). He's even thrown it a couple times on our hardwood floor and it's held up fine; except a couple times it broke apart but everything just snapped back together. You can put the cars and such inside the air cargo, he likes that, too. Really, it's just a nice toy even though he's too small; he'll grow into it. Successful gift :)
