My youngest (8 yrs old)wouldn't stop trying to make forts all over the yard with anything and everything she could get her hands on, twigs, branches, rocks, leaf piles, etc. Her favorite method being to heap all her materials against the decorative tree in the front yard. With a birthday nearing i had to find something to fill the fort void and not just look like a misplaced pile of garbage in the yard. After much searching I found Toobeez. The price seemed steep but this sports goal kit has all the pieces the smaller fort kit has and is practically half the price! Kids loved them! They built a fort, tent, puppet stage and toy animal bunk beds. Takes a bit to get used to locking them together without unlocking other sections inadvertently but once they figured that out, they all flipped through the book for the next project idea. They work fine temporarily indoors but take a bit of space, they will do fine for outdoor building when spring comes as well. Ages ranged from 8-12.
